OOC- Woulda posted in the claim, but it was locked so this is how she'll bug him. bic- The scent of fire, the smell of death, the dank darkness drew the little white mare to Hentra Island. She smirked as she stepped into the darkness, eerily lit by fire from flowing streams of lava. Burkina-Faso was in search of a home and this was just the place for her. She moved in her head held high on her beautiful neck. She opened her mouth and let her whinny escape into the darkness. She knew the stallion that had claimed these lands was still here, she just didn't know where.
Leaping nimbly and beautifully over the flow of lava in front of her, Burkina landed lightly on the ground on the other side. Smelling sulfur and bare ly dodging a spew of hot water from the ground, she gazed up at an inactive volcano and moved toward it. Feeling the ground rise up she saw an entrance and walked in to an awesomely frightful sight. Here was the lead of the lands and she smirked as she parted her lips again. "Hey stag..." She said and then smirked a little more. "Guess who came home." Boy was Burkina an evil little mare.

Slasher's head rose from his grazing when he heard the hoofbeats running along his land. He awaited the arrival of the other equine. If it was a challenging stallion he would beat the stuffing out of him using his razor sharp hooves. When the equine arrived he found out that it was a mare. A white mare that looked very plain and didn't spark his intrest too much. He had seen many mares like her and didn't really care for them, they were just so, ordinary.
He listened as she spoke and then he responded in a loud, deep, hissing tone. "Mare..." He listened as she continued talking and then responded again. "What right do you have to call my land your home?" He snorted and shook his forelock out out of his eyes. He wondered if he should allow her to stay in his land and have this as he home.
After he had pondered the subject for several minutes he had made a decision. He would allow her to stay with him, but only as a slave. Maybe if she was good he would allow her to gain a higher position. He would wait to tell her his decision until after she answered his question and he would only allow her to stay if she gave a good answer to his question. As the brute waited he snorted immpatiently and stomped his hoof on the ground.

Temper, temper. SHe thought with an evil little smirk. "Ok stag, I'll tell you why..." She paused briefly as she thought about how she was going to make her answer to him. With a fresh little smirk, her trademark, she continued, "I have as much right to be here as you do. My father used to follow the alliance of Fire. He taught me all I know, and he was the old Fire Lead's right hand man. He used to live here, in these exact lands, so they are rightfully mine."
It wasn't totally a lie. Her father had followed the Fire alliance. He had explored these lands, and he had even owned it briefly. "That's why I have right to call your home, my home." She smirked again and turned her pale chestnut eyes on the stallion before her. He was handsome, and much to her surprise she decided that she would do anything for this stallion. He made her disturbed existance worth suffering. She waited for his response.

Slasher listened as the mare attempted to back talk him. He just snorted and looked down at the little mare. "Your reasons have no meaning. What used to be is no more, but anyway, you may live here under one condition." Slasher paused and took a breath. "You are now my slave, wench." He trotted over to the mare and planted a sharp claiming nip on her flank. He trotted around her and watched her carefully.
"Now, wench, you won't run away will you?" He watched her carefully. "As long as you don't run away you will have free range around my lands as long as you bear my foals." He waited for the mare to answer him. If she tried to put up a fight it wouldn''t even be worth it. He would just let her be on her way, but she wouldn't be living in his lands. He waited patiently for the slave to respond.

A slave? Why not? She smiled a little as she felt his ivories close over her flank and in reflex she kicked back at him, but not to hurt him. Like she'd decided, she would do anything for this stag. "All right stag, I'll be your slave, and I'll gladly bear your foals for you. Master." She added at the end so she wouldn't get too horribly beaten for disrespecting him. She knew he'd have a condition like this. Oh well. Burkina-Faso was his now. And her bloody flank proved it.
"Name's Burkina-Faso, Master, but call me Burkina or whatever you will." She told him lifting her gaze to meet his. With realization she figured that she would gladly carry the foals of this devilish stallion. And to add to that she was mere days from her first heat, and had yet to feel a stallion inside her. Maybe he would be the one who would be the one to take her. Who knew? Moving away from him,she dropped her head to graze on the grasses under her hooves, but never her eyes left his, and her ears were always tilted his direction. Burkina was home, and with a stallion.

Slasher watched as the mare tried to kick at him and he dodged quickly. He didn't mind the fact that the mare tried to kick him, it happened all the time. He walked around to the front of the mare and spoke to her. "Good little slave. Keep that attitude and you might not die." He nipped her neck slightly.
He could smell that the mare would soon be in heat and ready to bear his foal. He listened as she spoke her name and then responded. "Hello Burkina." He decided to tell her his name. "My name is Slasher, named for all those who I killed." He nipped her slightly and then exited the inactive volcano, going out into the smoggy, choking air outside.

Shaking her neck at his nips she smiled as she turned to watch him walk out. Slasher, hmm, it definately fit her new master. She turned all the way around and trotted after him. "Master Slasher, where are you going?" She asked, she didn't really want to be left by herself in that volcano, even though she knew there were no other members here, she still didn't like to be left alone for too long.
Maybe she would come into heat earlier than expected, but she would just have to see. She ached to have him inside her to have his foal growing in her body. Burkina-Faso, wanted him, and her body and mind and soul knew it. She kept pace with him easily and listened for his answer...if he'd give it to her. Her pearlescent ears were tipped his way, her pale chesnut eyes searching his face. Burkina didn't want to be alone.

Slasher turned his head when the mare spoke to him. "Master Slasher, where are you going?" He wondered if the mare knew that she could just call him by his name. He wondered what he should tell the mare. He decided to tell the mare where he was going and that she could come if she wanted to. "I'm just going around the territory and exploring."
He continued to face the mare and waited for her response to what he said. This mare must be rather clueless. The only reason that she would stay in his territory would be to bear foals. As soon as the mare could not bear anymore foals she would be of no use to him and he would discard her unless he gave her a good reason not to.
Slasher snorted and flicked his tail at the annoying pests that actually survived in this harsh environment. He wondered how any insects could survive in this environment, he could barely extract and oxygen from the smog filled air. He loved the territory, but he hated the air. A large beast like him needed much oxygen, so he would be spending a lot of time in the inactive volcano or out of his territory. He was only exploring his territory now because he needed to learn it better.

She saw his look and smiled. 'I'm just going around the territory and exploring.' He'd said. But then she caught the other look that flashed across his face ever so slightly. "I am not clueless. Stubborn maybe, but never clueless. I was just checking. And you can't lose me that easily...Slasher." She said stubbornly as she flicked her tail viciously at a rather big insect that tried to bite her flank.
She knew what he would do to her whenshe was useless to him, she wouldn't have it. She'd give him a reason to keep her on. "Race ya Slasher." She said and pawed the ground lightly. Burkina would like nothing better than a good race, and against Slasher. That would give him a reason to keep her on after her usefulness was gone. She flicked her tail again and waited to see if he would accept her challenge.

Slasher listened as the mare told him about how she wasn't clueless. There was no way that she could have known that he was thinking that because not even the slightest expression flickered across his face to have made her think that. When she said "I am not clueless. Stubborn maybe, but never clueless. I was just checking. And you can't lose me that easily...Slasher." he began to wonder just how stupid this mare was. Did she not know that disrespect could get her kicked out of his lands. No, she didn't have to call him Master, but she still must respect his name.
Slasher saw one of those large bitting insects on the ground and stomped it quickly. It made a satisfying crunch under his large hoof. He looked up as the mare asked him to race. "I'd rather not race. I need to explore my land more." Slasher had never been one to race or play, but maybe a foal or a very special mare would be able to soften him up.

"You're just afraid to be beaten by a mare." She said with a smirk and watched as he crushed the insect under his hoof. "Besides, a race is one of the best ways to explore something I've found. As long as you set a pace you can observe all around you." She said stepping upon another insect that was crawling toward her hoof.
"Let me help you explore Slasher." Burkina said as she looked to her master. She just wanted to sorely run. And she also wanted to get to know this terrain. After all, she would be living here for a while. Best to know her escape routes...if she ever needed them. "So can I help you or not?" Burkina asked stubbornly looking toward him as she waited for an answer.

Slasher snorted to clear the smoke from his nostrils. When he heard the mare say that he was just afraid to be beat by a mare he shook his head and spoke. "I'm not afraid of being beat by a mare. I know I would win, but I have important buisness to attend to. Now, if you wouldn't mind, leave me alone." Slasher's tone was rather harsh as he spoke. This mare was starting to get rather annoying.
He listened to her and then spoke again. "If you would like to explore, you can explore on your own. I need to be on my own." He began to trot off. He turned his head back to the mare and stopped. He spoke to her again. "You may have free range of the entire territory, just don't stray too far and stay away from the hot springs and the active volcanoes." He began to walk off. He just needed some time to himself. He would look for a few mares, explore the territory, and then return here. He probably would only take an hour or so before her would return.
NOTE;; You can either have her follow him and risk something bad happening to her or have her wait for one post before he returns. When he returns he will be in a much better mood. [/blockquote]

Burkina snorted a little as she watched her master...no her boss move away from her. With a flick of her tail she raised her head into the air to see what smells she could catch past the smell of death and decay and whatever else was here in these homelands. It didn't do her much good. With a snort of surprise and a flick of her tail she felt a cold breeze slip past her pearlized body. Burkina-Faso looked up into the black, dank sky and thought of something. The elemental gods couldn't be returning to these lands...could they? She caught a flash of her past.
The stallion looked out from the non-active volcano, out across the lands his daughter standing at his side, her white coat not what he would have expected from a fire daughter. "What are you looking for dad?" Her words sang in his ears as he tore his eyes from the horizon to gaze down upon Burkina-Faso. "You shouldn't worry my daughter, it doesn't concern you." Then he looked back out across the lands as he watched the last of the elemental gods vanish from the world. "Tell me dad or so help me..." He looked down at his daughter again, surprise in his bold black eyes.
"Or you'll what?" He asked her turning his complete attention on her. "Or I-I'll beat you up." The stallion laughed a little at the firey heart hidden beneath his daughter's white pelt. What father could resist telling their child when they demanded like Burkina-Faso? "As much as you do not need to worry my dear, no one knows how long the elemental gods will be gone from this earth." His daughter stared at him as he turned back into the inactive volcano in which they lived.
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts Burkina returned to the inactive volcano and stood just as her father had...so long ago. Her eyes locked on the horizon where she thought she could see movement. Her eyes roamed about her home than as she watched for her boss to return. Eventuallly though, her hunger claimed her and she vanished into the inactive volcano to graze and relax. Change is coming Dad. I can feel it. She spoke to herself as she grazed contentedly on the grass always alert for Slasher's return.
