This might be our only chance.

Where do you go when you have nothing to do? Nowhere.[/size]
Anarei was new to these lands and jugding by the lack of life, one of the first. A sigh fluttered her charcoaled lips as she ambled through the grasses. What to do, what to do?
Unbidden, a breeze leapt to the spotted mare's side, twining trough her legs like an adoring pup. "Back for more, child?" She murmured to the unseen force. The sparkle in her eye reflected a love for the unruly element, as if it were indeed one of her own.
The breeze rose to tousle her forelock and whisper in her ear. As if she understood the element, the mare threw her snow-pale head back with a chuckle. "Wanna run, eh? Let's go then!" With that, she exploded forth, long legs reaching out to eat the earth. Adrenaline had numbed her limbs from the whipping she recieved from the long grasses, their attempt to punish her as she broke their daily peace. She was like a sliver bullet streaking through the lands, eyes watering from the speed. The wind kept pace with her, screaming in rapturous joy.
All too soon, her muscles were screaming in agony. Each stretch pulled liquid fire down the sinew. Huffing and darkened with sweat, Anarei stumbled to a standstill. Her head was lowered as her lungs heaved, capturing many sought-after breaths. She called the breeze back, closing her eyes in bliss as its cool breath bathed her body.
It wasn't long before she lifted her head again, dark eyes taking in the grassland about her. If she stared hard enough, she could just see a scattering of trees far into the horizon. What a lonely place. "Where am I?" She asked, expecting no answer in this desolate land.
