I have three horses. Two Geldings and a mare. Cheyenne is 3/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Arabian, he still thinks he's a stallion and he leads our herd of three. Talon, my sweet little Rocky Mountain Horse is pure RMH, our only pureblooded horse, he's a sweetheart, likes everybody. And the mare, her name's Dixie, we don't know exactly what she is, but we think she's Morgan and Quarter Horse. . Here's a pic of all three, the sorrel is Cheyenne, the bay is Dixie and the palomino is Talon: i36.tinypic.com/ut05g.jpg And here's another one: i36.tinypic.com/2lxhxjn.jpg

oh wow! They look so very different with their winter coats
SNOW! i have only ever seen real snow once in my life. it was a bit cold. And your paddocks are so lush! We're kinda in the middle of a drought at the moment, so my horse hasn't been our in the paddock for over two years. He's always penned up =(. But what can you do i suppose..
I have a 15.2hh palomino gelding mutt named sandy. we think he has a bit of thoroughbred in him but we're not sure what else. I've had him for roughly three years. He loves jumping, but this past winter wasn't too kind on him and he was struck with arthritis pretty bad in his back and his hind left leg. He will be thirty one in january, so as you can imagine, i am looking for a second horse. I do feel quite sad about it soemtimes because we can't afford to keep him ocne i get my new horse. But it's just getting to hard on him what with pony club and such. He costs alot to feed and is on many weight gaining products for old horses. But he's still quite skinny, good for his age, but just a little too ribby for my liking. We've just started him out on rice bran and that's been putting his weight on quite nicely. He currently gets grass hay, rice bran, equibix, weight gainer, equine senior and oaten chaff twice a day in a warm mash. We used to have him on a bit of barley aswell but that went straight through him so we took him off that pretty quickly. During winter he also gets phsylium husks and cornflour to keep him from scouring. I think the biggest problem with him is that because of his age there's only one place he would really end up going if i sold him..
here are some photos of him. [one] He kinda likes V [two] Me & him early this year. [three] Sandy & Cassy [four] Sandy, Cassy & Ricky.
And i have a whole bunch of videos of me and him here.. (click the link below) YOUTUBE,, =).
What kind of discipline's do you guys ride? i ride english xD [/blockquote]

All of yours are beauts. Our Paddocks only last them a few weeks. Yeah, they look different with their winter coats. Makes 'em look prettier. . We normally ride Western, they're pretty much trail horses. ;D.

forgot to reply to this thread lol my horse is a chestnut crabbet arabian mare 16 years old called Crystal. When she was young she got caught in barbed wire and it went around her throat, she was lucky to live, but now she has half her beathing tube (cant remember what its called lol) paralised. So shes known as a roarer and cant breath to well so i cant work her hard or ride her for to long unless shes a bit fitter. But yea shes adorable i love her to bits. And Mums horse is called Koo, he's a grey standardbred whos 26 yrs old but still goes like a 3 year old lol. Crystal has trouble keeping up with him sometimes We live in NSW. near the beach i love the beach. hehe
