born and raised in the desert, she knows everything there is to know about surviving in the harsh climate and land.
personality
She has a warm and kind nature, which is not what is usually expected from the fire kindred. But although she is kind, she has a terrible temper when andered, and you would be hard pressed to escape harm from her flailing hooves and bared teeth without scathe. She has never loved before, and she believes that she would need someone cool tempered and outgoing to balance her life out properly, before she would settle down.

Example rp
A thudding of hooves can barely be heard over the silence of the sand, the heat shimmering all vision, a mirage. Golden coat fades in and out of existance, blending and twisting in the scorching suns rays, as the heat patterns seem to be trying to cover up the chestnut mare for unwanted eyes.
The red and orange dunes shimmer in the midday heat, making it seem like anything could be down there, hiding from your view. The thudding like a beating drum gets slightly faster, and it almost sounds like a massive beating heart, the heart of a great golden dragon perhaps. The thudding gradually becomes louder, it penetrates deep into your brain, your heart beat begins to gain speed, to match the thudding that is coming closer, and louder, ever louder.
You begin to pick out individual sounds from the being that is getting closer, the 4 beats, could it be the four chambers of that massive heart you can hear? A slight rasping sound, a swish of a tail, a clink of the great dragons talons! You stay very still as the sound quickly fades from your hearing range. Your heart rate doesnt slow though, as your mind races with thoughts and possibilities.
but no, you mustn't let your imagination get ahead of you like that, you realise. Dragons dont exist anyway. And why would you be able to hear the dragons heart? Stupid. You try to forget the sound, maybe it was just dehydration getting to you? The sand shimmered in the hot day, you turn to make your leave to the shadows and refreshing water.
And there she is.
The twisting heat distorted her image ever so slightly as she gracefully walked through the tree's shadows towards the water, the chestnut mare a perfect image of the desert beauty.
You walk towards her, cautiously, not wanting to scare or frighten her. You reach the salvation of the shadows, and to late you realise, you let a sigh escape your throat.
Chocolate orbs turn your way quickly, water dripping from the delicate wiskers of her mouth flicked away with a rough toss of her dished head. With a high peal of bells that was her neigh, she half reared up, turned on her hooves, and raced away into the shadows.
You shake your head lightly as you make your way to where you last saw her dissapear, try to find some sign she actually was there, but not a print could be found, not a heair lost.
Chocolate orbs watched from a mere 40 feet away, hidden body covered by thick shrubs. She was glad she knew so much about the bushland and loved the way the desert hid her form so well in the heat. Her body thrumed with energy from the sun, and with a small toss of her molten mane she quietly walked away from the oblivious observer.
