Think you're the smart one in this big old game of cat and mouse we call life do you? well i'm sorry, we can't all live fantasies. no, change is in the air, the heavens are opening to reveal a new path for you to take. The spirits are coming alive again. Awakening from their endless slumber. The spell laid upon them from the day the first equine settlers arrived has been broken. Those both good and bad are discovering powers they never knew existed before the turning of the earth. The elements are choosing their masters. Perhaps now those who reside here will want to learn the history of the land. Rather than just tales, twisted and changed throughout time. It's not much, but this is the best recollection you will get..

CLAIMING » Mares come here in hope that a staliion will come and claim them as his own. Stallions may be in as many threads as they wish. The land is barren & largly inhabbited with mares living by themselves, bachelor bands of young stallions are often seen gallabanting about in search of a mate.
BIRTHING GROUNDS » Mares come here to this secluded valley to give birth to their young. It is very much a sacred place, protected against man of life's harshities. Please be sure to read over the rules before posting.
BATTLE GROUNDS » (1 sub-board) Here is where all equines come to battle for territories, mares, freedom ect. You may choose to either commense in an elemential battle or regular battle where no elements are allowed. This particular board is where equines come to test their true physical power. Please follow the rules provided.
THE LAKE » The lake stretches far & wide, the sand is an odd greyish colour & is specked with pebbles & shells. Though it is unknown how shells came to be along the bank. It is said that the lake is seperated by spirirts, spector ghosts of those passed. Generally the area surounding the lake is a lovely, peaceful meeting ground for equines both in herds, or without them. Not so much can be said for the bank on the far side of the lake. The grass grows long and yellow, slippery on the hooves of those who lack decent agility. Strange phenomenoms lurke about in the murky water, no one is daring enough to investigate & find whether they are harmful or harmless.
LEITER» [non-elemential] For those equines who either deny their powers of the elements, ignoring them & doing whatever they are capable of to push it from their souls, or those who simply seem to lack any power at all. The elements are a gift, summoned by the ancient gods but not every equine is worthy, not every equine will be chosen by a spirit. Maybe there just aren't enough spirits left. The land is just like any other wild horse land, grassy, trees for shade & the odd river with bland, tasteless water.

HENTRA » [fire] (1 sub-board) They say the ancient gods speak to their descendants through the feasting flames of their anger. This land is charred & filled with ashes as many a blaze plunders. The sun shines orange-red in the sky above the blackened earth, feeding power to it's chosen. A thick smog hangs low over the ground, making it near impossible even to breathe.
ADURNA » [water] (2 sub-boards) Water-benders, able to suck the moisture from the very air around them. Many a wave has crashed upon the pearled shores. Many a lake & river flow through adurna, the water is crystal clear in most places but often the darker forces of adurna can be pinpointed to 'contaminated' water. Deadly if not dangerous.
ULARNNE » [air] (2 sub-boards) They say the ancient gods speak to their descendants through the howl of the wind & that many a tornado has rampaged with anger. The land is founded on clay, for if the ground was sandy no one would be able to see for the wind would pick up the sand & create a haze of disaster. The shore of the island is rocky, dangerous for the equine hoof, they are covered in moss & prove to be very slippery, most equines keep to the trails.
EHCRIALE » [earth] (2 sub-boards) Those who are gifted to hear the noise in silence reside here. Through the rustle of leaves and the songs of the flowers they draw their strength. The forests here are dense & overgrown. The trees are a muddled mess, some ancient, some newborn. But when one becomes lost in the forest it is said that the spirits of echriale will choose whether to haunt or to help. They whisper with ghostly voices, hoarse & raspy from centuries of being without body.
Following are the rules of Datholon. Please read them, it will only take up 10 minutes of your precious life. If your not going to read at least some of them then dont blame us when you get things wrong.
General ;;
i'm the admin, i'm the special one, i get the first, middle and last say about things around here.
you may have a maximum of 4 characters.
you may advertise your site ONLY in the advertising board.
all members are to obey the staff and leaders or i will personally eat you.
Mares ;;
if you are claimed by a stallion you may go with them or you may choose to fight them.
mares may not rebel against their lead. if they do so the lead may choose to banish them from that particular herd.
mares MUST be three years old in order to have a foal.
you can try to fight a stallion for freedom. but i guarantee, you'll lose.
Mares can live in any land relivant to their alliance as long as the land is unclaimed or the herd leader accepts you.
If a stallion comes to claim the unclaimed land you are living in you will either be asked to leave or you can ask to stay.
Stallions ;;
stallions may force breed but please don't go overboard and rape every single mare that walks by you.
in order to maintain your terra you must be active. if you are gone for over a month your terra will be identified as unclaimed and you will have to reclaim it again if you wish to remain the lead of your terra.
you may fight other stallions for mares, lands ect.
You may claim as many mares as you want, the stallion with the most mares will be the best stallion.
Breeding ;;
Graphic breeding is not allowed. it is against the proboards terms of service. If you wish to breed graphic then use pm's. Just do a sort of, fade in, fade out thing.
Admins and staff are the only members who may decide the status of your foal. when it is born you have no say in whether it is male or female, black or white.
you must post at least three times before your foal can be born.
Posting ;;
i have no set length minimum for your posts, but if i see stupid posts with only one word on it then a rule will be put up. once again guys, dont abuse the privelage.
charries ;;
okay, beofre you go makin heaps of charries, the same rules apply as anywhere else. 4 charries per account.
When you join first you must read these rules then go to the status board. There you will create a thread in your charries' name. This is where you will post the name, age, colour. breed ect ect of your horse. You may include as many pics as you want no matter how big they are (as long as they dont stuff up the boards that is.) If you are the herd leader you may also include the status of your herd if you want.
Challenging ;;
• There will be four posts for each person:
1 Starting post, stating you are ready to fight.
3 Battling posts (The first person to state the starting post will attack first).
• There must be at least two judges. The administrators could be the judge, or the leaders of the herd (this happens only when mares are fighting - not when the lead stallion is fighting). They will have a conference with each other over PMs to decide who won.
• The winner will be decided by whoever has the best posts. That includes:
- Long detailed posts
- Few errors in spelling/grammar/etc.
- Creativity
• When the opponent tries to hit you (say if you were in a fight), then you must at least get hit once out of all attacks in the battle post. It is not logical to miss ALL attacks.
• When posting attack posts, please limit your number of "attempted" attacks to around four attacks.
• If a person posted in the 'Away' area, they you CAN NOT win by default until they are said to have been back.
You can, however, win by default if the person should be back and does not reply to your battle request in a period of. Message me or Avi and we will declare if you win by default or you have to wait a bit longer. If the person comes back, then the battle is still on.

Elements ;;
Elements are as follows - fire [hentra], earth [ehcriale], water [adurna] and wind [Ularnne].
If you dont want your charrie to have an element then he/she doesnt have to, you may live on the island made specifically for normal horses.
When you create your bio you must include what element you are of. [or if you dont want to have an element at all]
Elements do not mean that you can turn into fire, but you can get very hot. Say you were of the wind element, you can hear what the spirits of the wind say, they can guide you, punnish you, aid or hurt you. The spirits may possess you at times to do their bidding.
The element represents your mood at times. You choose how.
You may only be of one element at a time. Pm me about changing.

If You are dark, you can not eat other creatures, after all, you are still a horse.
before putting a raid or plot into action you must inform me of it.
Punishments;;
First offence - Warning,
second offence - One week ban,
third offence - longer ban or account deleted.
